The Networks Project supports young people aged 13–18 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them overcome barriers and move towards brighter futures. Through one-to-one mentoring, practical support and opportunities to build confidence, we work alongside young people at their own pace, helping them improve their wellbeing, develop new skills and take positive steps into education, training, volunteering and employment.
Over the last year, we've had the privilege of supporting young people to build confidence, improve their wellbeing and achieve things they never thought possible.
This year alone, 43 young people received one-to-one mentoring, 17 re-engaged with education or training, and 14 secured paid employment. Along the way, young people gained qualifications, developed life skills and grew in confidence.
We've also continued our work with young people from the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller community, helping to reduce isolation, build confidence and create opportunities through youth clubs, mentoring and family support.
Every number in this report represents a young person with their own story, challenges and achievements, and we're incredibly proud of what they've accomplished.
